Fast and Easy Summer Hair

I've been doin a lot of braids lately. They are so summer. I parted my hair down the middle and just braided each side. I french braided the first part, then just kept the braid going down to the last bit, secured it with clear elastic band, then pulled it all back in a low pony. I like ittttt. 

Lets talk about the fruit of the spirit...

I'm sure you want God's fruit to mark your life, to make you beautiful from the inside out. If that's true, you probably wonder, "So what can I do? What do I need to do to get things going, to get this business of spiritual fruit-bearing in motion?" Well here's one thing you CANT do. You can't think, perhaps if I just try harder... Jesus teaches us that do-it-yourself efforts aren't the answer. The fruit of the Spirit can only be produced as we yield to God and allow His spirit to work in us as we walk through life.

Never for a second forget about the battle that is going on between your flesh (sinful nature) and your spirit. In Galatians 5:17 we see that "the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit... They are in conflict with each other." We will face this struggle forever, but praise God that when we live by the spirit we can have victory over our flesh! So what does it mean to live by the Spirit?

Living each minute God's way, obeying Him. Seeking to please God with the thoughts we choose to think, the words we choose to say, and the actions we choose to take. Letting God guide us each step of the way. Letting God work in us so we can bring glory to His name.
