Thought of the day:
Ecclesiastes 5:10, "Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income." Talk about timeless- this statement about sums up the normal mindset of people in our culture today. Whatever we have isn't enough. This explains why normal Americans-even though we're far better off than most people in the world-don't feel "rich." Therefore we're never satisfied, always wanting more and never appreciating all that we've been given. Once again, being normal is killing us. With this blog I hope I can inspire someone to understand that what they have now is valuable, what you own doesn't define you, and that you don't constantly NEED anything. Be content with what you have and be THANKFUL. Its not about money, its about happiness. I know thats a very simple term but just for a moment, thank God for what you have instead of thinking of your ever on going shopping list. You have everything you need. Work with what you have.
