Well, it's true. It is 2013 and I have started my second semester as a sophomore here at ORU! Its so great to be back, which is weird to say because I usually wanna sleep in my bed at home as long as possible but I love rooming with my best friend here in the dorms =] I love the energy of the new year and semester. I think I have narrowed my New Years resolutions down to three:
1. Continue to grow in the Lord daily.
2. Become a better cook.
3. Have an "un-offendable" heart.
The last one is the kicker. To truly have an unoffendable heart you have to know who you are in Christ. Don't let little things get to you and don't let little things get you down. Don't be offended! God is on your side and you have the mind of Christ. I am really going to try to have this mind set of the unoffendable heart because this is how we start a culture revival people! If Christians never were offended, never got defensive, always held their tongue, how much more would our witness be? How much more would we point to our father? Just a thought.
