Isn't God great! He's given you and me the gift of salvation through His son. And God will always forgive us when we have sincere hearts. Have you ever wondered, How can I move on after I have failed? Turn to the Bible for the answer to that.
If anyone had a good reason to regret horrible things he'd done in his life, it was the apostle Paul. Before he met Jesus, Paul persecuted Christians. (Acts 9:1-2). Can you image how Paul felt when Jesus brought him to his knees and gave him complete and unconditional forgiveness? After that, Paul knew he had to move on and serve God with his whole heart. No more WASTED DAYS.
"Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me..." Philippians 3:13-14
Choose to accept God's forgiveness from your past. And choose to remember His forgiveness every time you think back on past failures. No one is perfect, we all have fallen and will fall... Choose to forget the past and press on. This is what will enable you to face each day and the coming years with excitement and joyful expectation of what God has prepared for you!!
