Presentation Day

Dress: F21
Boots: F21

I had to give a pitch to Justin Loomis, from The Kross 100.3 FM. My team and I had been working on a campaign that gave Mr. Loomis objectives and tactics for new ways to promote his business and see The Kross get new listenership. I provided him with a couple hand outs to take home to review and also a plans book that covered the main points of the presentation. It was a great hands on experience for future! I love my major so much!

Now to the devotional of the day... lol
Have you ever wondered "why's a nice girl like her doing that? "Each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable." 1 Thessalonians 4:4. Living the Christian life is a struggle. Jesus said to His disciples- and us- that "in this world you will have trouble" (John 16:33). Some of the trouble Jesus was talking about will come in the form of temptation.

One key problem with temptation is that it comes in so many varieties... The target is always your "purity"- ethical purity, mental purity, spiritual purity, and physical and sexual purity. Think about this verse and hold it near to your heart, "His divine power has given us everything for life and godliness" 2 Peter 1:3. God is all about choices, its your choice to do what is right and pleasing to God. Making right choices protects you from sin, failure, and harm. When you come face-to-face with temptation, there are several choices you can make with full confidence, knowing they are the right ones:
1. Choose godliness
2. Choose to avoid places and
situations where you would be tempted
3. Choose to avoid people who might tempt you

My prayer for purity
Lord...
I give You all the desires of my heart-
I give You my mind-
I give You my mouth-
I give You my body-
I give You my relationship with men-
And I give myself afresh to You.
Take my life and let it be
ever, always pure for You.
